"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit." Jeremiah 17:7, 8
IN JESUS TODAY!
When everything hits the fan, when crisis has come knocking at your door, when the level is at critical mass, and when it comes time to implement your last resort plan, are you steady or will you panic in the face of destruction? There are some who will panic and react in haste while others under the same duress will be the "smooth operator". What's the difference? Both are experiencing trauma and are compelled to take action, but each one has a different reaction.
The one who reacts in haste, pressed by fear, and flustered or agitated by the unknown will see destruction and will certainly aid in the speed of the process, but the one that trusts in God and whose hope the Lord is, will not be moved! Fear and panic do not come near to his dwelling and his heart remains steadfast, he will continue to produce good works, keeping his eyes on the power that will deliver him! Jesus will not tarry in these times. He will rise up and give the command, he will send his word that calms the winds that trouble you. Fear Not! But, you say?
"But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying." Psalm 70:5 Jesus knows what time it is, and he will respond to your crisis, trust in him, he will not tarry! Press forward in your faith in God.
