"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." John 17:11
IN JESUS TODAY!
"Painted in white, the walkways came from two different entrances, and there were two people, each one on their own walkway, and as they departed they walked along the paths of these two separate walkways until soon the walkways came together as one, and now mysteriously through the Holy Spirit these two were one, and so it was that this man and woman met and walked together smiling and talking as they entered into the parking lot to leave the church. This is an example of what God desires from us as his children, although we might live in different areas, arrive at different times, sit in different seats, and depart through different exits, we can still come together as one and enjoy fellowship through the mysterious working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. God wants to bring us all together as a family, his family, and as his bride, to walk together as one. "That they may be one" is what God desires, this is God's purpose for us all! It is never God's desire that we are solitary, as we read, "God setteth the solitary into families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land." Psalm 68:6 Are you walking alone on this path of life? Friend God loves you and if you will walk with him he will bring your walkway together with others that you may be a part of his family. God will never leave you alone nor will he forsake you! He is calling you today to join his family, to not forsake the gathering together of the saints, to allow the Holy Spirit to bring you together as one with his family! He is calling you to join his family and take part in this love!
Let us be one, let our paths come together in Christ, and let us be family, his family, his bride! Jesus is calling, as we read, "And the spirit and the bride say, Come, and let him that heareth say, Come, and let him that is athirst, Come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17
