"Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:51
IN JESUS TODAY!
Sometimes we hate change, even if we are Christian we often hate change, and we will often use scripture to fight against change, some scripture such as, "I am the Lord, I change not." Malachi 3:6 or "Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8 and many others. And because change is not well received, some seek to support their opposition using the Bible. Friend, change sometimes is difficult, but we will all have change in our life, here's a verse, take a look at this, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:52 You see friend change is coming, like it or not change must happen if we desire to ascend into heaven and live with Jesus. The greatest "must change" that will happen is this conversion from corruption to incorruption, as we read, "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 1Corinthians 15:53 So change is happening and will continue to happen in our lives until Jesus returns, and we then will spend eternity with him in heaven. God change, or good change, as all that God does is good, is a needed process for us to be able to move towards this time of incorruption, we know that we all fall short of the glory of God, and we all need to examine ourselves and seek daily to become more like Jesus, but we all have a ways to go, but one day as it is written,
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him: for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2 Actually, change is what we should embrace, knowing that we are always changing as we seek to become more like Jesus!
