"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servant’s things which might shortly come unto pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John." Revelation 1:1
IN JESUS TODAY!
Show me thy glory! This song is the song that repeats the desire of all Christians, that they might see the Glory of God. I have been told many times in the past by strangers, regarding the book of Revelation, "I am afraid to read the book of Revelation." "It's scary and tells only of destruction." To which I respond, there is nothing to be afraid of. The Revelation to John is an uncovering or an unveiling of God's glory! The first three chapters are about past history, but from chapter four through the end of this book, it is all about God's future glory!
Things to come are revealed to us, things such as the Day of the Lord and The Second coming of Christ. This day will be a day of Jubilee and a rejoicing for all who have waited patiently in faith for Jesus to come back again. Revelation is not scary because Jesus is not scary. Jesus is not a threat to those that love him and long for his embrace. On this day as it is written,
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him like he is." 1John 3:2
This Revelation to John and to us is about, "when he shall appear" not about what we need to fear! Jesus loves us and is coming back to receive us unto him as the Bridegroom receives his Bride! So let us fear not!
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." 1John 4:18.
If you love Jesus with all of your heart, then you have nothing to fear on The Day of the Lord! God's Revelation and the glory of God is a joy unto us!
OUR FUTURE WITH HIM IS COMING SOON!
