"Though he slay me, yet will I trust him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. He also shall be my salvation: for a hypocrite shall not come before him." Job 13:15, 16
IN JESUS TODAY!
In the time of affliction which way shall we run? Will we run to God or run away? Job thought that he was to die, his afflictions were devastating, yet he remained constant and determined to stay the course. Our trust in God will be tested or tried by fire and that fire often can be devastating or seemingly more that we can bear, but God promises that he will not give us more than we can handle, as it is written, "There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1Corinthians 10:13
God knows our frame, he will not break a read that is shaking in the wind. Trust God and believe that he is able to save you when you cry out to him.
"Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us." Psalm 62:8 Though he slay me, yet will I trust him! Jesus will always come to your rescue, call out to him, reach out and his hand will meet yours and pull you up from the waters!
