"Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? Isaiah 53:1
IN JESUS TODAY!
What report are you believing? The report that you can see or feel or smell or taste or hear? You see friend, there are reporters that we all have that sends to us messages for us to believe. Our eyes send messages of what we see with them, and this witness is what we believe to be truth, "I saw it with my own eyes!" Our nose reports to us different odors that alert us of good things or bad, when we touch things our fingers and hands send messages to us revealing to us what might hot or cold, soft or hard, friendly or foe, etc., Our ears report to us all that we hear, whether truth or lie, it is dispatched to our mind and heart for us to consider as truth, and our taste tells us of what might be good or bad for us to consume, or desire to consume. All of these reporters can report the truth to us, but they can also all deceive us from time to time, the question then becomes, is what they are sending to us true? And then the next question might be what is truth? Well, Jesus has said that he is the truth, as it is written, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 Now can you see Jesus? Taste Jesus? Smell Jesus, Touch Jesus? No, not exactly, but you can hear Jesus, so we find that what we hear with our ears becomes our truth, as it is written,
"Faith cometh by hearing and hearing of the word of God." Romans 10:17 All of these reporters are important, but what we hear and believe of the words of God is what becomes the most important report we can ever receive!
