INTO HIS HOLY PLACE...
“Oh, send out thy light and thy truth; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.” Psalm 43:3
HOPE FOR TODAY:
Have you ever wondered where you should go or what you should do next? This question always is one that can bring confusion into our life if we don't have some help to answer it. Sometimes we just don’t know which way to go or what to do next! In these times we may be left without the solution, in which case God comforts us by His assurance that He shares with us. When we are confused we need only to ask God the same as David has done here,
“Oh send out thy light and thy truth!” These two will guide along the way that we are to go.
THIS IS THE WAY…
Sure, there are many ways that we can go, and there is always a way that seems right to us, but not all ways, in fact there is only one way that will lead us to what is right. There is only one way that will lead us unto His Holy place. All other ways, to include the ways that seem right to us, will lead us to destruction. So what choices do we have? On the one hand we have what seems right to us, along with all the other ways that we receive as council from others that may be well meaning, and then we have God’s way of light and truth. The one leads us away from God and into destruction, while the other leads us unto His light and truth, and we know that by His light and truth we are set free!
So basically it’s death and destruction versus life and freedom! This is not hard to figure out which is the best way, the true way, and the only right way to go, yet many will choose against it to their own peril! So David needed to hear from God, because even the ways of God are sometimes confusing to us, we will need clarity, and for this we MUST talk to God and ask Him to send His word to us revealing to us exactly what we need to see and hear.
WHEN WE SEEK GOD...
God will always answer us from on high! So cry out to God today if you are not sure what to do, trust him to show you, and he will do it!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge the Lord, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5, 6
TRUST GOD TO TAKE YOU INTO HIS HOLY PLACE!
