A LEADING MAN!
“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Mathew 10:5, 6
AS MEN OF HONOR:
What is your weakness? This is much like an interview question, but usually they ask “what is your strength?” Whatever your weakness is God will turn it to your strength in order to make us focus on serving others, many that share that same weakness, because we then have “Fellowship of Suffering” and this is the greatest tool to have when winning souls to Jesus. Our testimony then becomes look what Jesus has done! If he can do it for me, he can do it for you! This is why the first disciples had so much appeal, they were common men that you might see every day, turned into Learners that followed Jesus and studied to become World Changers that were trained by the Master!
They were trained and then sent.
God calls us, trains us, and then he sends us. God wants us to get our feet wet by going out from the church into the community and telling all of the Good News of Christ Jesus. That salvation message is meant to be delivered to the masses, a population of people that are suffering without hope of healing unless they receive Jesus. We are to go out two by two, in groups, with authority, and answers for people that are seeking to make a change in their life. To the lost sheep is where the True Shepherd will send us, as we read,
“As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered: so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:12
God has always used plain common people like you and I to be sent forth to gather his flock and bring them into the fold. Think it not strange that you are called, trained, and chosen to go to bring the lost to Jesus. This is exactly what our purpose is!
TO SEEK AND TO WIN THE LOST…
And to gather all of the redeemed unto Jesus! Are there wanderers that have once been a part of our church, and for whatever reason, they have strayed out into the world? Bring them back! Are there schools of people that have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus? Go out and tell them!
God uses common people like you and I to set in motion the wheels of advancement of the Kingdom of God. Many think that it’s over after they have been saved, my friends this is when it starts, we are called, trained, and sent! We are to finish the work that Jesus began! As Leading Men we are to take up this mantle and take the initiative to go out with God’s gift of Salvation to those that believe! Ask questions, give answers, and het the message out there!
Step out in faith today!
