TO ELIJAH: YES, IT IS WELL, WE ALL HAVE A RESPONSIBILTY AS CHRISTIANS TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS AND TO OFFER TO OTHERS HELP IN THEIR TIMES OF NEED JUST AS IT HAS BEEN GIVEN UNTO US. WE WERE BEFORE STRANGERS, YET TAKEN IN BY THE LOVE OF GOD. SO IT IS UPON US ALL THE RESPONSIBILTY TO OFFER TO OTHERS THESE SAME THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN GIVEN UNTO US BY GOD’S GREAT GRACE, NOT THAT ANY OF US DESERVED IT BECAUSE OF OUR WORKS OR STATUS IN SOCIETY, BUT SIMPLY BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE AND HE LOVES TO LOVE US!
“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but indeed and in truth. 1John 3:16-18
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.” Galatians 6:1-6
