"And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name." Exodus 33:17
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
Show me thy glory Moses said! Moses had a very close relationship with God, he was chosen to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and once they were out, God spoke with him upon Mt. Sinai, giving Moses the marching orders into the Promised Land. Although Moses didn't go all the way into the Promised Land, a land that was flowing with milk and honey, the original marching orders were given to him and all because he found grace in the sight of God. It was critical because they needed leadership and direction after leaving Egypt and all that they knew for a promise not yet seen. Why did he find grace? Moses found grace in the sight of God because he obeyed God and refused to live his life to please man. If we desire a close relationship with God and would like to see God's glory in our life, we will have to choose whom we seek acceptance from, we have to live our life to please God. Many times to be accepted by people means to disobey God, and to be pleasing to God means that we may not be accepted by our friends or others that are close to us. Grace requires that we make a choice. Choose you this day whom you will serve and whom you will please. Make your choice for God and you will find His grace!
“Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13
