“And God spake all these words saying, I am Jehovah thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” Exodus 20:1, 2
AT HIS TABLE:
And God spake all these words saying. Who said we have to? This is a very important question, and it is most certainly answered in a clear and concise way. God spake all these words! God tells us here that “I said” “I am the one and the only one!” “I brought you out, it was my power, my wisdom, my authority, and my right hand that lead you!” Should anyone doubt, or should anyone ask, tell them, “I am” Jehovah thy God said all these things and there is none like him. He is the “Great I am” Who can do these things? Who can bring you out of your difficulties? Who can deliver you from your adversary and place you in a safe and secure land so that you may prosper? Only one can! Only God! Only Jesus can! He is the one and only!
HIS WORDS WILL…
What can God do? God’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save, as we read,
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither his ear heavy that he cannot hear” Isaiah 59:1
God can save you! Are you in distress? God is able! God’s mighty power extends beyond the power that is humanly conceivable, meaning we cannot even begin to know God’s abilities and love for us! God makes a way where there seems to be no way! Where there seems to be no hope, when we seem to be at the end of our rope, when our ground feels like slippery slope, God is there! God’s righteousness escorts hope back into our life, God’s love lifts us, and keeps us from falling, his right hand of righteousness defends us and protects us through it all. The love of God is unconditional towards us, faithful and true when others leave our side, steadfast and sure when our enemies work to divide. God is the one and only! No other offers will suffice. Our God is an awesome God! God who said it, will do it, as we read,
God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
