"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain," 1Corinthians 9:24
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
There is a challenge that is now before us. What will we do? Will we enter the race and follow the crowd of pew sitters or will we enter the race and lead the crowd to Jesus, thereby winning the race? There's a difference between signing up and crossing the finish line and that difference is all a matter of your desire to win! You might say, "What's he talking about race? What race?" Did you know that Jesus set before you a race, that when you were saved, he encourages you to run with patience? It's true! Hebrews 12:1 tells us, "Lay aside every weight, and the sin which easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Now that you know, take courage, and don't run to lose. RUN TO WIN! Let go of all those sins that hold you back!
“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.” Philippians 3:8
THIS DAY IN DEVOTION:
To the finish line where victory is ours!
