“To the weak I became weak: I am become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.” 1Corinthians 9:22
AT HIS TABLE!
It’s inevitable! Someone out there will always say, “That’s not Christian!” Whenever we are doing good for others, if we should help them out, or bear one another’s burden as we are instructed, or even pray to heal, someone out there will say, OMG! That’s just not right! But as we read,
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
This is the right thing to do and is by far the most Christian thing that we can do despite what others may think! It was the same for Jesus who on the Sabbath day decided to heal a man, as we read,
“And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and the Pharisees, saying, is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?” Luke 14:3
Jesus questioned them because in their heart they were judging him in the same way! “That couldn’t be from God, it’s against our law!” Has anyone ever said to you, whether it be to you, or behind your back, “They are not Christian” or “That’s not Christian?" The truth is Jesus works through us to save, and to heal, and to lift others up out of their trouble, and this might not always appear to be the way it has been done in man’s traditional ways, thereby causing some to say, OMG! That’s not God!” So some will say that we shouldn’t do it, but as Paul has said here, “I am become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.” As a true Christian God calls us to do this by all means! It may mean that we look different or act different than what is popular amongst other church members, but it is by all means Christian!
BY ALL MEANS BECOME ALL THINGS!
