Many will want to plead their cause unto Jesus when he returns, but while we are here on this earth these same many want to pretend to be soul winners that are concerned for the lives of others while the actual work of soul winning is left for others to do, these are the so-called "not called", as if they themselves are not really supposed to do this! The truth is we are all called to be soul winners! We are all called to bear fruit for God’s kingdom, and we are all called to take upon ourselves and into our lives the very same purpose that Jesus came down from heaven to this earth to do, and that is to seek and to win the lost!
Do you think that this is not meant for you? Do you think that you do not have the skill to do this? The answer is quick, yes, you are called to win souls, and yes, you do have the skill to do this! Open your mouth and speak about Jesus and what he has done for you, share your testimony with others about how Jesus has effected your life, and live your life before others so that they can see God’s word in action! Yes you have the skill, and yes you are called! Some might argue against this, their argument is but an excuse! Know this, God will not strive with mankind forever, listening to excuse after excuse, He will simply ask us to give an account, at which time He will decide and separate the wheat from the tares, the real and sincere fruit bearing from the imitation trees that only have leaves on them!
This is a wake-up call for those who are simply resting, thinking that it doesn’t really matter! Friend, again I tell you that winning souls is near and dear unto Jesus, so much so that if you are a soul winner, you are highly valued and protected, read with me of the value placed upon a tree that bears fruit,
“When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is a man’s life) to employ them in the siege: Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meet, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.” Deuteronomy 20:19, 20
See here that a tree that is bearing fruit takes precedence over a tree that is barren! And know that it should never be cut down!
